EXAGGERATION CIRCLE

(TOPIC: LEADERSHIP & TEAMWORK)

Instructions

  • ALL STUDENTS SIT OR STAND IN A CIRCLE.

  • ONE STUDENT STARTS A LITTLE GESTURE, WITH OR WITHOUT A LITTLE     SOUND.

  • THE NEXT STUDENT TAKES IT OVER AND MAKES IT BIGGER. EVERY PERSON   EXAGGERATES A LITTLE MORE UNTIL THE LAST STUDENT DOES THE WHOLE   THING TO THE EXTREME.

NOTES

MAKE SURE THE STUDENTS STICK TO THE ORIGINAL GESTURE/SOUND, AND DON’T JUST DO THEIR OWN THING. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE MOVEMENT GROW ORGANICALLY.

DEBRIEF: DISCUSS THE NEED TO WATCH AND OBSERVE OTHERS. SOMETIMES WE NEED TO BE GOOD FOLLOWERS. WERE WE CONSIDERATE OF THE PEOPLE THAT WERE COMING AFTER US, OR DID WE MAKE IT HARD FOR THEM (BY EXAGGERATING TOO MUCH)? DID I MAKE IT ALL ABOUT ME (STUDENTS TO THINK ABOUT THEIR OWN ACTIONS)? HOW CAN WE ENSURE WE SUPPORT AND MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR THE PEOPLE AROUND US IN OUR LIVES?
